Why on earth would Woot put this in “Tools & Garden” and not “Home & KItchen?” Heck, it’s even got Kitchen in its name.
Because it’s a faucet?
For those considering this, I bought this the last time Woot offered it. Very nice faucet at a much better price than Mothership, Big Orange, Big Blue, etc. “Vibrant Stainless” finish goes well with our stainless sink and appliances. Installation was easy (but it took a professional plumber two days and power tools to remove the crusty, no-name old faucet!). I didn’t realize I was somewhat ambidextrous so the right-side handle mount is taking some time to get used to. The “Sweep” function is quite powerful – and just might put ricochet splatter everywhere if used at full pressure. Unlike our old faucet, it will remember the last spray function used so, for example, if you turn off the faucet in Sweep mode, it will turn on again in Sweep mode. The weight and magnet (to aid returning the pull-out feature) isn’t as strong as expected but we have no issues lightly guiding it back into place. Very happy with this kitchen upgrade.
I also bought this last round. I concur.
Nice faucet.
Kohler is a good brand.
Our old faucet was not hard to remove. It was a less than one hour install…if you don’t count the drive to the hardware store to get different fittings. We had to adapt from 1/2" incoming water supply to 3/8" faucet fittings. A trip to the hardware store is standard procedure for any home repair, in my experience.
I’d like to know if the neck swivels.
Pretty sure all modern faucets swivel. In the sixth picture it shows the faucet turned to the left. So it’s a safe bet this thing swivels.
Yes, it swivels at the ring/gap about 8.25 inches above the base.
Thanks. I hate my kohler faucet that remembers the spray/sweep setting so that aspect makes this a no go for me personally. I want it to always default back to stream when the faucet is turned off.
I went through that many years ago at mom’s manufactured home. Everything in a manufactured home, especially one from the mid 90s is a challenge.
She just decided she wanted a whole new sink and a better faucet. And well, the whole sink cabinet was a disaster from age and a small leak at some point.
Took a couple extra days to cut wood and wait for paint to dry, but once I got it all out back together, it looks like a proper sink cabinet now.
No more random grey PB pipe… P-Trap routed better to maximize space. Proper modern 1/4 turn cut off valves. And since I was doing it, I gave the dishwasher a dedicated cut off valve and routed it’s supply and drain line better.
Home ownership. Soooooo much fun.
