I bought the sample pack last time it was up. A few of the flavors were okay, but most of them were pretty lackluster, especially when you factor in the texture of the pork jerky.

It seems that most people either love or hate this type of “wet” jerky but I’m on the love train. When they first launched, I found some of the flavors to be too saturated/heavy, but they seemed to have tweak their formula since then. Big fan of the Chili Lime and wished this deal included the Garlic Chili Pepper also. I don’t really like the texture/taste of the pork. They’re usually $5.99 - $6.99 at the supermarket so this is a steal!

Someone gave my wife a package of the pork jerky. I tried it and so did my kids and we all agreed it was nasty. It went in the trash. Too sweet, too soft, funky texture. Not pleasant at all.
If you get some and don’t like the pork jerky, you can send the remaining portion to me.

None of this was part of the recent recall right?

I spoke to Jon the president of Krave. no products included in this offer are impacted by this whatsoever.
in fact, the impacted items represented a very very small portion of the krave products.
One of the moderators will be connecting the recall letter on the krave jerky website.
Apparently this packing house impacted almost every retailer in the country in some way or another.
all’s well now.
We’ve received the following update:
The Kravy Jerky offered this Wine PLUS are NOT part of the Krave Jerky recall. Please see here for more info:
So what were the good ones?
I have gotten this in the past. I am a big fan of jerky - from the cheap stuff at quicky marts to gourmet. This stuff is good, not great, but it is certainly not $25 a pound good. 1.5 ounce bags x 10 isn’t even a pound.

But the bags at the supermarket for $6-$7 are much larger!
Thank God I’m a procrastinator. I didn’t even realize that these were the small size and was waiting to see if any other woots popped up so I could save on shipping. Disappointment avoided!
Bags on Woot: 10 x 1.5oz @ $25 = $25 for 15 oz = $1.67/oz
Bags at Target: 3.25oz @ $3.99 each = $1.22/oz
Sorry Woot
Anyone receive their order from Krave yet? I purchased two items off woot and they shipped separately and the woot package already showed up.
wine.woot shipping = 2-3 weeks from sale end, which would be the date the plus off ended, not necessarily the date you ordered.
So I rec’d my jerky- but both favors I ordered are really dry and tough. I really liked the softer/wetter product.
Anyone else tried theirs yet?
