Did anyone else receive a Kwikset 909 instead of a Kwikset 910?

Not entirely sure which is the better lock based on this review. You may like the 909 after reading this
Same here . UGH. We have had them waiting for a remodel to finish up and spent the afternoon putting them up only to figure out they weren’t what we ordered.
Kwikset 909 vs 910
Hi all. We reached out to our vendor. Here’s his response:
The difference between the Kwikset model 909 and 910 is the ZWAVE card. We have upgraded 909 units by installing a ZWAVE cards, turning them into 910 units.
The unit itself may still say “909” but the ones sold as 910 units do indeed have the ZWAVE card installed.
Those modified 909 with Zwave card should then have instructions about WiFi control (hope so). Can anyone check and see if that was included and if the serial number is modified so as to be able to identify those?
Why: Actually like the more rugged aspect of the 6 pound 909 lock even more than the newer but half times lighter 910 lock.
Got around to installing this. I can definitively say mine does not have the Z-Wave Module installed. It’s not obvious at first as the location is covered, but after a few tries to connect, I pulled it apart and indeed, no z-wave controller.
Here is a link to the complete breakdown and specs of the same with the Z-Wave module.

The blue board is the Z-Wave module.
This is the Z-Wave Plus module as advertised on Amazon for the price of the complete lock sold here on Woot.
Not sure if anyone else has had this issue yet, but if you haven’t opened yours and checked yet, best to do it to see if you have the module or not.

I just got around to installing mine and I had a similar experience to @intrepid01. I purchased 3 units and out of the 3 one arrived in rough shape and without a z-wave module. I’ll be reaching out to support.
That was @chewybaca96 who cleverly dissected his 909 model (not I who missed the sale).
I had researched for potential purchase and opined that the 909 appears to have specs that imply it is much more robust and if you do not need WiFi enabled, it may be twice as strong in construction of its housing. They are different in compelling feature despite being same company and adjacent product codes.
909 is 6 pounds compared to 910 which is 3 pounds.
910 has WiFi circuit. 909 does not.
