So… like is this just a can and they throw it into an Amazon bag?

That has happened… :grimacing:

Oh hey! That’s me! Actually came to the comments to joke about how someone is going to get a soggy envelope thrust into their mailbox if they order this.

How is this even a deal? They’re routinely $3-4 for an 8-pack on Amazon.

And i only buy when they are b0g0 12pks so about 2.50 to 3 per 12pk
I would be a bit concerned where a single can came from.

Pretty much.

Also, shipping single cans of soda is so shameless that it quite frankly should be illegal. Not just because of the waste of resources, but also because they put them into paper envelopes that leak and can destroy other packages in their vicinity.

What the actual crap? I couldn’t believe that the single can thing was real until I looked at the price.

WHY???

“Man, I could really go for a warm seltzer.” (Waits two days, cobwebs forming)

I do order liquid stuff through them and I’ve almost never had a spill, however, last week they put plant antifungal liquid in the same box as food. My guess is that the poor souls who pack the boxes aren’t paid enough and have high quota demands.

Does this come to my house immediately?
Why else would one order a single can of LaCroix? For $.99 it better come ice cold too! Stupid.

Woot, send me a cold one!

The associated Amazon product reviews are full of P.O.'d buyers who paid as much as five times the Woot! price for a single can; believing that they we buying a 12-pack.

I was once told that woot sticks to only selling items that have at least three stars on Amazon (if they are offered on Amazon).

Guess this one slipped through.

I’ve also heard numerous times that woot prices can’t be compared to brick and mortar prices because of shipping. I guess that’s a fair argument but still doesn’t explain this.

This listing is the equivalent of paying $12 for a 12 pack. That’s more expensive than Amazon, not to mention grocery stores.

Lordy, there are actually purchase stats for this. 69% bought 3. :person_facepalming:
