Oof. Not a deal
It’s actually close to a 3x markup. Awful.
Not sure why, but woot doesn’t always give the quantity accurately. In this case, based on the listing that is referenced by the reviews and comparative price on Amazon, I’m pretty sure you’d be receiving 6 boxes of 10 pods, not just 1 box. Amazon.com: Lavazza Espresso Maestro Classico Aluminum Capsules Compatible with Nespresso* Original Machines, Medium Espresso Roast, 100% Arabica (60 Capsules)
Same thing happens with the lifesaver 10 pack roll, the listing is for 1-10 pack but the buyer always receives 2-10 packs
I still don’t trust it lol
I’m not staff, so don’t take my word, but as @CoastalWooter42 mentioned, it appears to be for 6 boxes according to the ASIN.
(Note that I am not staff. I just volunteer to help out on the forums.)
Hello all!
These are available over on the manufacturers website for $7.98 for a box of 10 capsules. Also if you sign up for the Lavazza subscribe & save service you get an additional 25% off!
Is shipping free?
Edit: nevermind, only on orders over $50.
Yes that’s true. In order to get free shipping through Lavazza you would need to purchase a minimum of seven boxes.
Lavazza: $7.98 * 7 boxes = $50.86 -$12.71 S&S = $38.15
$38.15/70 qty = $0.54 per capsule
Free shipping is included at woot if you’re a Prime member.
Woot: $18.98 1 box. = $18.98/10 qty = $1.89 per capsule
So that’s a total savings of $1.35 per capsule when purchased through Lavazza.
While we’re trying to get specifics, can we get the “best by” date? If it’s posted, I missed it.
Edit: oh I just saw the disclaimer on the description. NVM
