Not to argue, but in your photo of the two boxes, the one from Woot’s vendor (on the right?) has © 2023, vice 2025 on your box from Amazon. I don’t know what this means, but presume the vendor was/is using NOS, or at least NOS or old boxes and putting whatever-the-hell cameras in them.
Since the vendor has told Woot these are supposed to be “New,” I think a scallywag is at work. Personally I would return to Woot for full refund, let Woot staff at their discretion examine and raise a stinky-poo with the vendor. Despite what some think of Woot’s business model, vendors who put Woot in this position should be held to account. (I think this case is quite different from Amazon “open box” units where the product has clearly been used, or is defective, or – some rare occurrences – the product has been swapped out with something by an unscrupulous customer somewhere and Amazon staff didn’t catch it. In my lexicon, “open box” does not mean “used,” it means “opened for photo use, display, unused return.” Reference: Woot’s condition guide.)
