I don’t get it. Why spend hundreds of dollars on a crappy representation of the car, when for 1/10th the price you can get a model that actually looks like the car??

On top of the fun of building a mostly functional Lego representation of the real car, the Lego car is also 1:8 scale. Much larger then the 1:24 model you linked.
