“ The 10e Chromebook Tablet is the perfect tool for K-2 students to begin their academic journey.”
Only good for second graders and below?
Educational model. That’s who they targeted.
Ohhh, I thought it was a typo. Tried to be sarcastic.
It’s also a 10.1 inch tablet that accepts pen input, can run Android, and gets OS updates until 2030. It has 4 GB of RAM and 32 GB storage. It is a little light on storage, but that RAM will make for a fairly snappy Android tablet.
I didn’t see any mention of a micro SD slot to expand the storage, does it have one?
I checked the Lenovo site, and it appears that there is no micro SD slot. Too bad, but not necessarilly a deal breaker.
I have this but with keyboard case. It is very similar to the original Lenovo duet 2in1 for performance. I think the original keyboard is important to have although no touchpad and is not really for lap use. Mine came with it. It supports a usi stylus (don’t buy the Lenovo stylus it is too sensitive). It has a headphone jack unlike the duet. Only one USB port for charge and accessories. It is a little slow but tolerable for basic browsing and works great for streaming. It is rugged so I toss it in my bag for travel. It is better than most entry level android tablets when used as a tablet. However, the android emulator can be slow to start on occasion.
I think it has the basic same internals as the Lenovo duet tablet which was a pretty big hit. Obviously not a blazing fast performer but you don’t need a lot of power with the Chromebook.
This is a good deal as far as I’m concern. I did see the Lenovo duet very briefly ones at Walmart for $99 but that was a long time ago and I haven’t seen any deal like it since.
Yeah and I would assume it probably supports a video output, I know the duet does.
