Is it safe to assume this ships with a power supply? Also, do you know if these are populated with a single 8gb module and a 256 GB M.2 2280 PCIe NVMe? These also usually come with a 2.5 inch drop in slot for a SSD — is that part included and might it have a 2.5 inch SSD instead of the a 256 GB M.2 2280 PCIe NVMe?
- I would certainly presume so.
- Since these are refurbs, configurations may vary. These machines have two slots, so the memory would either be 1x8 or 2x4.
- Likewise with the SSD. These could use a M.2 NVMe, M.2 SATA, or 2.5" SATA.
If you need a specific configuration, you may be better off buying an incomplete unit and adding your own RAM and storage. The caveat, however, is no warranty to speak of. You’ll be on your own for the hardware and OS.
