This:
i5-4570 16GB RAM 500GB SSD 1TB HDD WiFi-5G Bluetooth Win 10 Pro
$250
That:
i5-4590 4 GB 500 GB HDD No OS $120 at dellrefurbished
Add 16GB ram $40 + $30 for 500GB SSD and you’re at $190.
So unless you want Win 10, this deal isn’t that golden.

Aren’t you missing a few things? This desktop is a complete working PC. You are only some of the parts. Where is the case, power supply, etc. And btw, it will need an OS.

Love the ToP reference. East Bay Grease!

Many refurbs at Amazon, i.e. HP Elite 800G1 Desktop Computer Package - Intel Quad Core processor i5 Gen 4 series 3.3GHz, 16GB RAM, 240GB SSD 2TB HDD, Windows 10 Pro, Dual 19 inch Monitors, Keyboard, Mouse (Renewed). Not identical, but similar and cheaper…$215 with two monitors. Am I missing something?

Funny how there’s no comment section for the dinosaur 2nd generation i7 “random HP gaming” deal that’s going on.

That’s because the last time it was a bloodbath…

too funny I saw these this morning on my way out to pick up 2 HP SFFs for 75 bucks(combined not each)

  1. I5 6500 with 8GB DDR4 500gb HDD
  2. I7 3770 with 8gb ddr and 250GB SSD

Dellrefurbished isn’t selling parts but a complete unit; they are Dell Financial’s outlet for their lease returns. The aforementioned unit isn’t up to the same specs with the computer here, hence citing the upgrades.

What hasn’t been mentioned is that not everyone is comfortable doing their own upgrades.

FWIW, as a Dellrefurbished customer for well over a decade, they typically reinstall the OS that the computer was originally configured with, so “No OS” computers may not have an embedded Windows key. That plays a part when it comes to proper comparisons.

can i have a link to that please?

It seems to have disappeared

Are you talking about this?

Yeah, it was on the front page of the mobile app not anymore

These are all USED, don’t pay a dell or amazon premium, buy one used for 1/4 the price. Go on FB marketplace, trust me there are a dozen of them in your area for sale for under $100

It was a daily but it’s still live. But the computer team keeps setting them up as VIP offers and those don’t get threads. What do ya do?
