Touch? I’m assuming no since it’s not listed in the specs.
Honestly? For these specs, not a bad deal. I’m a little concerned at the discrepancy in screen size (is it 14" or 15.5" inches or 15.6"?), but if that’s not a concern, it’s not a bad price for an older but perfectly adequate laptop.
Screen size 14”, 15.5” or 15.6”? We’ve got 3 different answers here.
Correct, non-touch.
Sorry. It’s 15.5"
One question - what are the paired asterisks about in the description?
USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type-C (Power Delivery and DisplayPort Alt Mode),
2 x USB 3.1** Gen 1 (1 always on), <== here
USB 2.0,
HDMI 1.4b
I have one asterisk, but two? Nope.
I couldn’t live with an off center touchpad.
Pretty sure that’s standard for a laptop with a keypad. It’s centered with the spacebar.
Is it wifi6 capable? Doubt it, but that’s a need for my next purchase.
It looks like it might; it’s not clear what model this actually is. Also, it looks like you could change the Wi-Fi card if it does not.
The vendor confirmed these are Wifi 6
The specs don’t mention anything about the video card. What type is it and can this laptop be used to play video games?
Thinkpad = business computer lineup. Integrated graphics (no dedicated GPU), not intended as a gaming computer.
(Note that I am not staff. I just volunteer to help out on the forums.)
No mention of a backlit keyboard, so I’m assuming not …
Sorry, it does not have a backlit keyboard.
Is it safe to assume batteries have not been replaced? Does the vendor provide any info? Thanks!
They’re tested to make sure they’re at at least 80%.
