No it’s not.

That looks like the same garbage keyboard that’s on the W530. They’ve improved it on the new P series laptops but the previous generation of their new model keyboards (not the original keyboard, which is what you really want) is total crap. Unless you never plan on typing on the actual laptop, avoid at all costs.

Full disclosure: I love thinkpads and wouldn’t buy anything else. I hate my W530 though.

I had a T420 and it had a LED above the screen that illuminated the keyboard. That was a nice machine.
