Lenovo ThinkPad Yoga 11e Convertible Laptop

Lenovo ThinkPad Yoga 11e Convertible Laptop

Processor is from 2015.

Screen resolution is a crappy 768p.

4GB of RAM is soldered to the board with a single slot for a RAM upgrade.

Lets check the chart:

Looks like this one is “cheap” and was “good” at the time. By NO means will this be “Fast”.

This laptop can and should be upgraded to its maximum 8GB of RAM. Then, it would be a nice little machine for school work or general use. It’s not a powerhouse for the latest video games nor for compiling operating systems in a few minutes. For web browsing, word processing, school work, some game play, etc., it is more than sufficient.

I got a very similar one nearly five years ago (mine has N3160 cpu and cost almost $100 more). Upgraded memory to 8gb and swapped in a 275gb m2 ssd and put linux on it so it could actually perform tasks. It’s still not a supercomputer but it’s quick enough for a light use travel notebook and it’s still running with no issues.

Here’s Woot’s description of mine to show it’s also a Yoga 11e 3g:
Lenovo Thinkpad Yoga 11E (3rd Generation) 11.6" Touchscreen Convertible Ultrabook, Intel N3160 Quad-Core, 128GB Solid State Drive, 4GB DDR3, 802.11ac, Bluetooth, Win10 Home

I bought mine specifically because the specs tab indicated the memory could be upgraded.
Memory: 4GB PC3-12800 1600MHz DDR3L
Supports up to 8GB; 1 SO-DIMM Slot

Maybe I missed it…WIFI?

Got this 6+ yrs ago, immediately upgraded to 8GB RAM, and have been a happy home user ever since. Great for torrenting, browsing and email.

Does not qualify for Win11

How can the words “high performance” be used in the description of this computer?

Because they’re referring to when it was released in 2003. :stuck_out_tongue:

I ordered this laptop which is clearly labeled as a Lenovo Yoga 11e touchscreen, but received a Lenovo 11e with NO touchscreen and not a YOGA(screen does not fold back and turn into a tablet).

When did you make your purchase? I have the same. I had not read very well.
I have been using as it is.
Both are in the same user guide.

I purchased Feb 19th, the problem is you can get a Thinkpad 11E (3rd Generation) refurbished for half this price.

Hi, there! Sorry about your issue with the touchscreen.

Please reach out to Woot! Customer Service.

From a browser, use the Woot! Customer Service form.

In the Woot! App, choose Account from the bottom navigation and then Support.

Note: Woot! Customer Service replies go to the email address on your Woot! account, not your Amazon login email if used/different.

I contacted Woot Customer Service the day it was delivered. I still haven’t received information on returning this POS. This is criminal.

Always the customer service has taken good care of any problems. Be patient. Send another message if you don’t see it resolved.
Good luck.

Please note Woot customer service takes 24-48 hours to respond and they will send the response to the address listed on your Woot account and not your Prime account (if they’re different). Please check all spam and junk folders.

If it’s been more than 48 hours @ThunderThighs may be able to check into things if we ask her nicely.

(Please Note: I’m not employed by Woot, but I volunteer to help in the forums.)

Hi there. Sorry for the delay. You should have a return label in just a bit. Look for an email from UPS.
