For those of you looking at this phone⦠There is a dual screen case that doubles the display. Additionally, this is one of the only phones that actually has an internal DAC. If you listen to high-end headphones (wired only), the sound quality on this phone is excellent. I didnāt see this mentioned in the specsā¦
Yes the v60, which got Android 12, is easily worth $200 for dac alone.
865 chip is the last great snapdragon flagship soc. The 2 newer chips 888 and 8g1 have thermal throttling issues.
I absolutely love the V60. You can even get a 2nd gen Wacom stylus for $20 and it works on both screens.
It also has expandable storage, desktop mode, stylus support, pro camera mode. And class leading battery life. 5000 mhz battery. It is right up there with any recent Android flagship, imo
Downsides are 60 hz, but I barely notice the difference between 60 hz on v60 vs 120 on my tab S7 and pixel 6 pro
Is this att variant or t mobile. Att requires an active sim for updates, just as a heads up
You can buy a 10 att prepaid card to get the android 12 update if you donāt already use ATT
I mentioned it because I often use it as a dap with no sim. On att with no sim card you will be stuck on Android 10. Just a heads up.
I have a V60 and love it. And yes, the headphone output is amazing and this is probably a great pickup for anyone who just wants a really solid phone with a great DAC. I do wish that Woot would put the EXACT model number when they post phones for sale, because as noted, thereās a huge difference depending on what carrier itās originally tied to.
I āupgradedā to a Pixel 6 Pro for various reasons but canāt say it was really much an upgrade, and I really miss the LG camera functionality.
Mine is Permanently locked to AT&T. I tried my T-Mobile SIM and itās locked. AT&T cannot unlock it because the device is āunsupportedā. No unlock code is available. Or itās been previously attempted 5 times. Kind of annoyed, but it works with AT&T fine.
