I bought a 3-pack in March, one has already failed. No response yet from Woot! The speed is pretty good on the remaining 2.

Is this the WHW03 V2 hardware that’s compatible with OpenWRT?

I got vlp01, all the specs online say ac1200, but the box is labeled ac2400. these are not WHW03’s as pictured… This is a total screw up on woot’s part.

these are vlp01 (NOT WHW03’s)… the picture is wrong… woot screwed me over with this “deal”.

Seems like I should learn my lesson and stop shopping for items like this here. This is the second time I’ve bought a router on woot and gotten something different from what was described:
What is described is a tri-band (AC2400) model (with pictures) consistent with the WHW03 – which has ports on the bottom (and a triangular cut-out on the corner to pass cables)
What I was sent this time was the VLP01 model which is dual-band and AC1200 (and specs with much less RAM and flash) and has ports on the back corner (and no cut-out) – so obviously the pictures are not from the same model I received.

I’ve already contacted Customer service – I hope they put more effort into describing the correct product that they are actually selling otherwise, it’s just a waste my (and other people’s) time.

The other annoying thing is to find out they’re shipping a different item from earlier posters and have to wait 3+ days for my order to finish its transit on a slow route across the continent to see if my order is effected the same way..
