I have the next smaller one but these are awesome, if expensive, ladders. They used to have late night info-mercials showing the real weight limit was much, much higher but I like how sturdy these are.
I install window treatments and have a painting business. These ladders are incredible. I have about 6 little giant ladders all sizes including the 26’ velocity. I’ve never used it as a extension ladder, i don’t put extension ladders in houses, bad things happen , always in the A frame configuration. It’s incredibly versatile and being 6’3" I can work 15 - 16’ above the floor and feel extremely safe. Only issues I have, is the metal used seem to oxides on the outside causing dirty hands when using and the 26’ it is quite heavy but manageable. I believe long ago Consumer Reports did a review and made mention of the weight. A couple of years ago Little Giant came out with a new line of A-frames called Skyscraper, 15’, 17’ and 21’. I purchased the 21’ on Amazon with free return. Thank God for free returns, this thing is a beast. It weighs a ton, no way one person can lift it let alone get it set up. I returned it and shortly after Amazon no longer offered free returns. Might try getting the 15’ if the need arises. Anyway, very good products.
