This mouse is not for gamers.
That said, it’s good to throw in the laptop bag as an emergency backup.

I have heard that before. Something about no delays. Or at least that is what my teenager said years ago when she spent $60 on one.
The 2.4GHz dongles don’t have delays in any practical capacity. The lack of a cord inhibiting movement is worth way more than the 1-3 millisecond delay you get from a quality wireless peripheral.
The only benefit to corded mice I can think of for gaming is a lighter weight, since they’re lacking batteries. Otherwise wireless is preferable in all circumstances.
