There are two versions of these, the one being sold here is the first gen with lightning connector. The second gen comes with usb-c. The two gens are identical in function, both versions work on any iPad 2018 and up. The power button on the first gen is unintuitive. Press and hold down for two seconds to turn on/off, press once to check if the power is on or off. The second gen’s power button is intuitive, flick the switch to the on or off position. With my first gen, I forget to turn it off quite often. At this price for the first gen, it’s a hard pass for me.
I ordered one of these last year or 2023, received a 2gen instead. \o/ Works well, as you might expect from Logitech.
You can replace the stylus, but need the replacement kit from Logitech which includes a special tool to remove the end cap.
