I’ve had one of these for nearly 3 years. Very pleased with it. I have a Samsung TV, Sony sound bar, Comcast cable box and Philips blue ray DVR. THe Harmony remote controls them all eliminating remote control clutter. Use the app to connect everything and connect the hub to your wireless network. As the remote is connected to all the devices over the internet, you don’t have to point the remote towards the TV, cable box, etc. in order to lower volume or change channels or turn off or turn on everything. Alexa also has a “skill” for it so you can do voice commands as well.
I have 2 in use in my house. They work great. You can always use the phone app if there is something extra you want to do (or take over if the kids won’t give the remote back).
