I have a K380 and it’s a great little keyboard. Handy for typing out on your phone, iPad or even your tv in the living room. Very portable.
Mine arrived flapping around in a loose cardboard box with a sack of batteries. If that wasn’t bad enough, it is USED! And very obviously so! Scratches and a disgusting stickiness in the ~ key.
WHO DO I NEED TO KNOW TO GET IN TOUCH WITH SOMEONE ABOUT A RETURN?!
This isn’t that much of a discount and nothing ever excuses buying a new product and getting a
used one
Again please if anyone sees this I need to talk about this return and the dawn soap that blew up and stained my other items and clothing

Make sure you contact customer service. They’ll have some options for you. Here’s the blurb.
Please reach out to Woot! Customer Service. To speed things up, let them know if you prefer a return/refund or a replacement (if possible).
Please allow 24-48h for them to respond.
Self-Return: Items without Li-Ion batteries can be self-returned within 30 days. Go to your Order Details to get started. The return label will be emailed from UPS.
Browser: Use the Woot! Customer Service form.
Woot! App: Choose Account from the bottom navigation and then Support.
Note: Woot! Customer Service replies go to the email address on your Woot! account, not your Amazon login email if used/different.
(Please Note: I’m not employed by Woot, but I volunteer to help in the forums.)
Mine was the same.
Woot did a similar bait/switch with the MK55 just 5 weeks ago.
This isn’t accidental. This is trying to foist used/refurb as new on Woot customers on the theory that we’ll be “less picky”.
And i wasted my mobile discount on this.
Not receiving what was listed, what you bought and paid for is a mistake no matter the site.
Woot’s business model is similar to mail in rebates. They hope people won’t bother with the hassle of contacting support and returning an item. Woot makes a profit on people who don’t check expiration dates and people who don’t know better or can’t be arsed to return something.
But Woot’s the one where you find the unopened rebate mails dumped in the dumpster in the back. (At least one wholesaler was caught doing exactly this with hundreds of Fry’s rebates.)
I can absolutely see that. I haven’t been Wooting all that long, admittedly, but if you have anything more than rocks between your ears, you should be able to spot their games a mile away.
To your point tho, I always go through with a return on everything no matter the trouble or price. It’s absolutely a matter of principle for me.
Funny enough (I guess) I screwed myself on this and two other tech-ish purchases. Keep what you said in mind for this.
This was over the holidays. Had an arduous, painful, back and forth on all 3 of the products/returns that I am referencing above. Cut to- they exhausted me and were spinning their wheels so once I had my return label, I stopped looking at their emails (I have a dedicated email addy for businesses like this).
As I’m generally inclined to just “get it done,” once I had said labels, I outfitted my returns and took em to get sent off.
About a week since my last email as since I sent everything off, I noticed an email dated about 3 days earlier. Well, apparently I had made my case and, I assume, due to the relentless, rampant nature of the behavior causing my packages to arrive with either used or wildly different, unrelated items, they said F IT LETS LET HIM KEEP IT ALL.
As I said above, my foolish punk ass was so concerned with being prompt and abiding by the rules and social graces. So I had already shipped it all off.
TLDR: don’t bust your ass going above and beyond here. If you know they fucked you know, they definitely know they fucked you (not synonymous with caring that they did). In practice what that means is that they’ll probably do something drastic like a return less refund. So just take your time like they do and maybe you get a bunch of junk you don’t even want or need. At bare minimum of the best case scenario, at least you don’t waste time and gas on making the return
F scamming and deceitful practices
Hello there. Sorry for the frustration. Our CS team will sometimes ask for more information on a return such as do you want a replacement or refund, photos, what’s wrong, etc. Based on that information, they make a decision to offer a return label or they may just refund with no return.
For this keyboard, the refund was issued by the Returns department a day after they keyboard was received.
