Go for it if you dare but I’d seriously check the sellers ratings first. :astonished:

I have one of these and it’s quite good, except for ONE thing I’ll get to. Be sure to compare same model #s because there are lower models of varying capabilities and prices.

This one (at the time I got it 1-2 years ago) was I think the best one in the line. This one has much more volume for things like SUV/truck tires, and high-pressure mode for things like road bike tires, and even better electronic controls for some of those specialty modes. For general use, I’ve had others from Milwaukee and DeWalt that I still use as well (yes, tool collector/hoarder problem I know…)

The one BIG flaw even though it has an auto shut-off at a pressure you set digitally and can store in memory, you have to keep your finger pressing on it the entire time which can take several minutes if airing up a larger tire. All my other brands with auto shutoff you can “start” and then walk away and come back in a few minutes to disconnect them. Although it’s fairly quiet (compared to some), since I have a problem with tinnitus (continuous ringing in ears I’ve had since childhood), any noise like a compressor or shop-vac can make it worse for a day or two. So I usually have to grab ear protection, but with some of them I can hit the start trigger and run away quickly. With this one I have to stay right there within arm’s length of it. When I read all about this one having the digital auto-shut-off that was the main reason I bought it to work with my other Makita 18V stuff, and was very disappointed to learn that I had to hold the trigger. I don’t have to do that on ANY of the other inflators I have.
