A good pair of wire cutters will go through these things like cheese. It happened to me.

Several reviews on Big Brother tell us that they will slip after a year.
Good price (1/2) though!

The marketing is a little misleading. If the cable is 6 feet long, it can’t possibly lock in increments from 0 - 6 feet. Since it has to loop back into the lock, my guess is it can only adjust from 0-3 feet then since it has to loop into the lock which appears to be at least 3 inches, which means you can only lock up something 0-2’9" away.

Woot! You left out the most important part! Thickness! 5mm? 6mm? 8mm?

EDIT: Master’s website says 10mm

Would this be a decent cable lock for a gun case? (Not necessarily for security, but more for transportation to say that the case is locked?)

It can snake into a rifle’s receiver or several pistol’s barrels.

According to amazon reviews it’s a great lock in that if you lose your key, simply add some WD40, and open it by pulling.

Cable locks are pretty much “keep honest folks honest” security devices anyway.

We use them for locking bikes, but only in very public spaces - and ideally within eyeshot.

was just ready to pull the trigger, and work called. do i want a good deal and save 5$, or go work 12 hour shift…hmm not easy to decide;;;wrong! easy. buy the same thing at full cost and still be $100+ deneroes(slang) ahead

Jeez, I’m sorry for the trouble. It looks like these cables have a Lifetime warranty through MasterLock. I’d recommend reaching out to them about the missing key. Keep us updated on how things go!

I received mine on the 23rd, mine was also without a key. Contacted Masterlock and they said i need a key code found on the box. There is no key code found on the box so this lock is worthless, it appears this was returned at some point in time. Looks like Woot and Amazon are trying to get rid of crappy returns, passed off as “NEW”.

Woot please either refund my money or send me a NEW lock with a key.

I’m really sorry about that, have you already emailed into support@woot.com?

Yes I did, the response back was that woot was swamped due to the holiday season. I’ll wait the week, but
