Still trying to hawk this unnecessarily expensive bucket, I see.

Does this bucket have WiFi or something? Maybe it just buckets so well that it justifies the $10 markup compared to other buckets.

Yup, just a bucket with a logo. Seems like something that might be raffled off at a trade show booth. Now if it included a grit guard and bottle of car wash, that might be worth something.

The crazy bit is these are listed for $68 on the mothership. Now, THAT is ridiculous. I get some people see value in branded items, but seriously?

Many of the reviews are for the other items associated with the bucket, but not the bucket itself. Pay attention to the “Style:” attribute.

EDIT - Meguiar’s is offering it for $10.99, BUT they want to charge another $15 shipping. Free shipping for orders over $99, but even then it’s still an expensive branded bucket.

Now $101.89

Should have invested in Meguiar’s bucket futures.

Edit - I finally found where I could report a lower price. Let’s see what happens.

Thank you for picking up the bucket and running with it.

Read somewhere that when sellers run out of an item but know they will be getting more soon they will jack up the price of the item rather than mark it out of stock. Something about easier to adjust price than delist a product. Seeing how this is being sold and shipped by amazon.com I doubt that to be the case, but here we are. Reading the Q&A’s it looks like this bucket’s price has been inflated since March.

No matter. I shouldn’t care. It’s not like I’m going to buy a $10 bucket, let alone $14 or more. Not my fight. Not Woot’s fight either since they have little to do with Amazon. They just provided the convenient forum to discuss. Apologies to Woot.

As stated, Walmart, Lowe’s, etc all sell various size buckets for $5 or less which would just as easily hold car wash water.

If you want cheap and give to a cause, Firehouse Subs sells their pickle buckets for $3. They come with pop on/off lids. The money supposedly goes towards buying equipment for fire departments. NOTE that they are NOT UV resistant. If you leave a Firehouse Subs pickle bucket in the sun a few months they will literally fall apart.

Gonna be offering the above screenshot as an NFT soon. Get your budding hats on.

I kinda want to buy this with my happy hour coupon as a status symbol.

@ThunderThighs could the buyers of this prestigious bucket get a badge?
