We hate to ask…but where is this made?
China?
Thanks.
Italy according to the listing and brand website
Hi there. These are being pulled from Amazon inventory so we don’t have a lot of information. Here it is on Amazon:
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00UFXFBZ6
Page says Made in Italy in the description but Made in China in the product details. So
So perhaps designed in Italy and made in China?
We just read this:
(Edited to add) After 18 months, the nonstick property started showing damage, then got worse. Turns out the nonstick surface is not that durable. I admit I used a metal spatula, but Mepra’s product description said metal spatulas and dishwashing are both fine. I suspect the metal spatula was the culprit for the damage, and if using one would cause this much damage, I would’ve used a different spatula. Oh, well. It’s too late. It worked very well while it did, but now I need a new nonstick pan. I’m willing to pay more for higher-quality products, but this much for 18 months of functionality.
So we are guessing metal utensils are a “no-go.”
We were looking for a just stainless steel version of this, but we would have purchased it if the pan did not lose its non-stick coating so easily.
Wait China took over Italy?
What?!?!
Did I miss something?
Sweet…and savory…at least you get some potassium from the bananas?
