Are these truly waterproof? The picture of the product does not include a small tab that says “Waterproof” which is present on the Moab 3 Waterproof product manufactured by Merrell.
Also, the name of the product listing on Woot does not include the word “Waterproof” which is part of the product name on the Merrell website of the waterproof shoe.
I suspect that the product listing on Woot incorrectly identifies these as waterproof. Please confirm/deny.
Hi there! Thank you for the question. Per the vendor, these are not the waterproof models although they do have some water resistance. I am going to remove that bullet point so it’s not confusing. Thanks!
Is Woot an authorized seller for Merrell? The Merrell one year warranty only applies to purchases from authorized sellers. I bought a couple pairs of Merrell almost a year ago and one pair was defective. I made a warranty claim and was told Woot was not authorized seller.
I’m not sure the Woot discount is worth the potential loss of an entire purchase price if outside the Woot warranty. I would like clarification on this question.

The Woot warranty is 90 days. Merrell is one year but they only honor it if sold by authorized seller. Is Woot an authorized seller?
