Meta Quest 2 Advanced All-In-One Virtual Reality Headset (256GB)

Meta Quest 2 Advanced All-In-One Virtual Reality Headset (256GB)

Do avatars have legs yet?

Legs remind people of mobility. And if you have mobility, why are you in meta and not just out in the real world. Just go take a walk.

Remember when these were $299 :smiling_face_with_tear: actually I think this is the higher storage capacity model, but still.

I ended up reselling my Oculus quest 1 when my eyes started burning out of my head :joy: was fun though

This is a worse deal then what is on Amazon currently, at least you get two games with that set:

This was 349 with Beat Saber (probably the only game most people will play) and Residential Evil 4 less than a month ago.

You reallllly want one of these, I suggest going to facebook marketplace. They are littered with these mostly under 300.

Terrible deal!

If you NEED a 256gb model, you are buying another VR set BTW. My 128 with 30 games sideloaded doesn’t even take up half that space.

Agree with @jar323232

Even Meta has the $399 with 2 games deal:

I have the 256GB model and I’m not even close to filling that thing. I also do a lot of PCVR with it, so that’s part of it, but even so, I don’t think more than 128GB is needed and worth spending the extra hundred on some great game experiences.

Aside from that, I love my Quest 2. Really, so much fun. It’s my go to gaming option at this point.
If anyone does go with Meta, here’s a referral code… you’ll get an additional $30 in store credit if you use it.

The 256 model is $499 on Meta

One of the photos shows the optional rigid head strap. This is a bit misleading since the cloth head strap is the one that is included in this deal.
Anyway, I’ve had mine for quite a while and love it. It’s engaging and good exercise.

That’s what I’m saying…the 256 is probably overkill. Save the money and get the 128.

When these first came out the choices were 256GB and 64GB. That made it a no-brainer, but had the 128 been an option I would have done that one for sure.

These may go down in price (or go up) depending on the success of Sony’s PSVR2 coming out next week.

This may be a last ditch effort to get rid of stock before next week’s big release which will cause more competition.

Makes me wonder if the Meta Quest 3 is on its way now…

Is this the same product ? Meta Quest 2 Advanced AllInOne Virtual Reality Headset 2... - YouTube

It was offered for $399 for the 256gb model on HSN 6 months ago, I guess inflation is going wild as the discount Woot! price is 15% increase. :frowning:

Meta raised their prices of it in the last year or so. It was originally $299 for the 64, then the 128GB version and $399 for the 256. They bumped it $100 higher for each version.

Can agree. I got the 256GB back at the original price, but with a relatively fast internet, it’s easy to just swap games out as needed, especially since I’ll usually stick to only 2-3 at a time.
