The Surface 3 is from 2015, so that warranty expired a looooong time ago. If you are going to go for an old computer with no warranty and you like the Surface, go for the Pro 3 instead. Better specs for the same price.

eBay! Used vs refurb, but if you are getting that old of a computer there’s probably not much of a difference.
