Whoa, $80 for a digital version of the game and a lanyard? What is the point of a steelcase if there is no game to go inside of it? The collector in me wants it, but the wallet in my pocket wants to know why I want it. Wallet wins this time.
Added value: “a message from the developer”.
Makes it worth purchasing.
Ah damn, this only has the digital code and not the disc!
“Thank you both for enjoying this steelbox. May your life be full of unrelated items to store in it.” - Developers.
What a bargain. I’m buying for pc bc it’s cheaper than buying just the code from a shady 3rd party.
The game doesn’t even run without internet, so it’s a moot point.
Bought at $69 a few days ago. $5 refund Woot?
That’s a question for customer service.
Looking into reviews, it seems that the performance on xbox ranges from buggy and unusable to mid image quality compared to pc.
is this play anywhere, so i can download on my xbox series x or pc?
Heads up folks, the box I received was not sealed and the code was already redeemed!! Contacted woot for support.
I just received my order, an amazing price for this. Very happy, It redeemed perfectly on my Windows PC directly from their site. The sleave is in horrible condition and the inside padding was ripped. But I bought it for the key at this discount, I don’t much care about the actual physical pieces.
Does this work on PC?
Also, does this work on an older PC? Or will it destroy any but the latest graphics cards?
You are going to want discrete graphics and pretty modern at that. I have a Radeon 6600 and it runs pretty smooth but I wouldn’t go any lower. Also, make sure you have at least 16gb memory, plenty of storage on an SSD/M.2 and a good amount of horsepower of a CPU. In other words, no sub $600 PC will work (unless you built it yourself).
This simulator is very detailed and accurate and shouldn’t be considered a game. MSFS hasn’t been a game for several versions since it has such high system requirements.
Pick up a yoke, rudders and throttle quadrant off of ebay or mother and you’ll feel like you are in the air. Throw in a 3-monitor surround and, oh my!!!
So is this standard or premium deluxe? The description says Inside the box is a lanyard with a digital code for the STANDARD edition…how would I access the premium deluxe features? Or is this a typo?
I just redeemed mine on PC yesterday and its premium deluxe content with all the extra airports and planes as specified. Its been running great so far.
Just redeemed mine on PC. It is Premium Deluxe. My metal tin was in great condition as well. I guess the condition of the tin is up to how rough UPS wants to be that day.
I too had an invalid code. Quite bummed about it! I reached out to customer service.
