I had to go back to school to remember all that is left out or this listing. First let me say this:
The following is my opinion and should not be relied on to make any decisions about the purchase or use of these or any other tires. In other word I have been known to be wrong many times.
According to the data in their chart this is a 215/55-17 tire
That means the tread width in millimeters is 215, the sidewall height is 55% of 215, and the wheel size is 17"
The 98 means it rated to carry a maximum load of 1653 pounds per tire
The V means it is speed rated to 149 mph
Back at the Mother Ship the lowest price on this is $87.73 as of 6/1/22
Customer Review rating is 4.5* , 7% rate it 1-2*, and only 12% rate it 1-3* so ratings are OK, BUT digging deeper…
In my opinion it appears the manufacturer has quality control issues. You will probably get a good tire. However the complaints about sidewall bubbles or breaking of the sidewall cords is the most concerning issue as it can lead to a blow out and loss of control of your vehicle. If the bubble happens on the inside of the tire it likely wont be noticed quickly.
Also check the date codes on these tires. Tires have a shelf life even if the have never been used the could be past their life.
Sorry for the long post. I hope my research save you time
Why would woot limit tire purchases to just 3 units? Do a lot of people own 3 wheeled cars?
Well, we only had two to sale. Someone bought one so now there’s one remaining.
Spare tire anyone?
