Not many reviews of this thing, but here is one, in case it helps someone:
Seems like an extremely basic, but decent quality (and good sounding) turntable. Probably worth $150, I think.
I gave this a lot of thought (wanting a USB turntable for digitizing my LPs) and found the above video review and researched the company a bit (Mr Mitchell had apparently been involved in one or more higher-end audio companies), and this is probably worth the price. Ultimately, though, I went for the 1byOne “Luscinia” turntable from the MotherShip for the same price but with a one-step-up AT cartridge compared to Mitchell. Set it up last week and am very impressed (though haven’t gotten to the digitizing yet).
I received this product and encountered problems with the tone-arm lifter. It lifts but fails to go back down when shifted the other direction. It should fall slowly and gracefully under the weight of the arm but just stays still. Even with the counterweight at its max, the tone-arm lift does not budge. Please help!

I got a response with instructions on return but I am slightly hesitant to go to that as a first resort. For one, the table can still play, it’s the tonearm lifter that is defective. For this reason, I would be satisfied with keeping the product and receiving a discount, maybe something like $50. I can also provide video evidence of the defective lifter if necessary. Another reason why I am hesitant to return is because of the policy where I will have to pay a 15% restocking fee and shipping if my product isn’t deemed defective, which I have no control over. I am also open to a replacement if available. I simply don’t want to pay full price for a product with broken components.
You’ll have to reach out to customer service as noted above.
Like the other Wooter, the turntable I received has a defective lifter. It won’t allow the needle to drop properly, so I just don’t use it. Other than that it’s a really nice table for the Woot price. I checked the speeds and it is almost as good as higher end turntables. The standard cartridge is decent, and that can always be upgraded in the future. It may be that there is a defect in the lifter on a large lot of these, so I’d suggest anyone ordering one to expect that to be the case. I considered asking for a replacement, but since it seems likely that what I receive would have the same problem I think I’ll just stick with the one I have since it is otherwise working great. If others that have ordered are having a different experience it would be great to know.
You’ll still want to reach out to customer service. They track these kinds of issues.
(Please Note: I’m not employed by Woot, but I volunteer to help in the forums.)
I got one of these from Woot a few months ago and it works great. Sometimes you have to adjust the weight to make the needle go down but I only had to do that a couple times out of a hundred records played. I would definitely recommend it for $150, it’s a great deal.
So the Woot page doesn’t mention Bluetooth. But I think I seen BT mentioned elsewhere. Anyone know if it has BT or not?
Hi there. The “full specs” linked on our specs isn’t loading well for me but I do see BT mentioned. It’s also mentioned on Amazon’s page.
ive been digitizing all my CDs into FLAC files but didn’t think digitizing my vinyl collection but havent looked into whether it would be a good idea considering I have a lot of older records with little pops. Im guessing those pops would show up in the digital file or is there software out there like dbpoweramp that can mute those sounds during conversion?
If I’m not mistaken the software they give you has provisions to eliminate or at least reduce hiss and pops from your records.
I did some digging around and I have the rebranded version of this that I bought five or so years ago. For the price this is a very decent turntable without a bunch of bells and whistles.
