Terrible deal.
A 4070 would not only draw less power but also provide more performance while being far cheaper brand new.
1080 and 1440 resolutions will exceed a 4070 but due to bus size 4k is done better with a 3080 BUT at the price point of $750 you open up your doors to a whole new price bracket as the 4070 is $500 but with $250 more you can look at 4070ti Super and the 4080. If you go used you will get some price savings. AMD is also a great option with its realistic V-Ram in its cards which is a trade for the DLSS it’s lacking that Nvidia provides in its cards.

These sell for closer to $400 these days
Show me? Remember new and at a recognized retailer - no eBay or mom & pop stores.
No one is really selling them new since they came out a few years ago. They’ve been eclipsed by newer, faster cards at better price points (this is only a 10GB model for example).
This is a well known retailer selling a refurb of the same one for $400:
I know you were asking for new but Woot often sells MSI refurbs for ~$20 less than new so there’s no real explanation for the $350 price gap.
I’m perfectly happy to let you sit on this, I have no interest in buying it but I figured I’d just comment on why it hasn’t sold at that price. I’ve seen it listed for a few weeks if not months.
Not just that, but they sell them basically at launch retail prices. A 4070 laptop with 16GB RAM isn’t worth $1,700 today; it’s worth $1,250 max (and can regularly be had in the $1,000-$1,100 range). A 4060 laptop isn’t worth $1,300; it’s worth about $800-$900, and good deals can be routinely had for less than $750.
Some of woot’s pricing is really competitive, like for video game stuff, brand-name shoes, sunglasses, and tools. But for computer tech they usually seem to charge way too much.
In all fairness to Woot, sometimes the have great deals on computer stuff like a 13600k for $167 but then a 4 year old card is $750. They had Black Friday 5700xt cards for real low as well a couple years ago then recently had a 7900xtx for under $700 I think.
It’s just the inconsistency on some pc parts that’s confusing to me.
