If bought through the mothership, these drives come with a 5 year warranty from the manufacturer. Does that apply here as well or are we SOL once the Woot warranty is up? Because it’s worth paying $2 more if the full warranty doesn’t apply here.
It might be honored, but it also might not, hence Woot at least offering the 90 day warranty. Even though $2.73 is more than I’ve paid for some SSDs before, I would personally lean towards getting it from the mothership. And that’s coming from someone who uses some lesser known SSDs before, including the one I reviewed 5 years ago on r/hardware.
