Anyone used this?
Oh FFS, I JUST got one of these yesterday… Paid a good chunk more, too. That said, comfy!
More of a Soft or a Firm? I much prefer softer foam
Good question on whether this is soft or firm. Want to jump but there are no details on firmness.
I have. I’ve owned one for over 6 years and absolutely love it. This is an awesome price. It is the most comfortable mattress I’ve ever owned. This is an awesome price and when I need another one, Nectar is what I’ll buy.
It’s medium…not too soft but not too hard
Those of you who prefer a softer mattress, the Casper hybrid is amazing and I’ve had them all pretty much
To me, this one’s a little bit too hard to firm,
It’s considered a medium firm
Even for a cooling mattress it’s supposed he sleeps pretty hot
For the love of God please never buy nectar. Garbage bed, garbage customer service. I’ve been stuck with a more expensive model for a year, but it was shot after just 3 months. They have a “lifetime” warrantee but after submitting photos two separate times nothing.
My Aldi memory foam mattress that I bought 10 years ago has held up beautifully which always makes me laugh when I see $1000+ mattresses.
I believe we had this exact nectar mattress. I’d describe it as a medium firm. I’m a side sleeper and main issue for me was my shoulder, just wasn’t quite enough give for me, and then fatigue where my hip rested. We had the mattress for 3 years, and there was a clear difference between the hip section on my side and if I moved to the center of the mattress. All that said, this is a really good price but I probably wouldn’t buy it again as a side sleeper.
Do I need to buy a base/ box spring?
You need something supportive to put it on. Modern bed frames often have enough slats to be supportive. If not, you’ll want to add something.
It’s best not to have a mattress on the floor, especially foam. ones.
I can’t seem to find an 11” Nectar mattress anywhere, including on their website (they all say 12”).
I’m guessing these don’t come with the Nectar 180 night risk-free trial…
It has some squish, but it’s pretty firm.
It’s been a day since I opened it so maybe it hasn’t expanded enough, but is this extremely soft for anyone else? I saw it was rated medium but any pressure sinks right to the bottom and can feel bed slats underneath.
I’m having the same issue. It has been nearly 72 hours and the corners have not expended, and the mattress itself seems very soft for what I understood to be a medium firm.
