Is this refurbished or is it new? I am just curious because if it is new, then would it have the standard 1 year factory warranty? Thank you.
Yeah, that is not very clear, is it? ANd problem 2- if it’s not the standard manufacturer’s warranty, we have to buy a very specific Asurion warranty, not just a standard, but the Refurb option- how do we know which to choose?
Would be nice if we’d hear from a Woot! employee on that one…
It says “brand new” a couple times. Not sure if that means not refurbished.
This is new and comes with a 90 day Woot warranty. Details are provided in the listing.
Woot cannot guarantee the manufacturer will honor the warranty so they offer a Woot warranty.

Condition:
New
Thank you. Part of my confusion comes from when I click on the 90 day woot warranty link, it sends me to an internal Amazon employee link. But maybe that’s just me? New Nespresso machines always come packaged with pods and this doesn’t so that also is why I wasn’t sure if it was new. Maybe it is in generic packaging for some reason.
It should be sending you to this link. That’s what I’m seeing:

Nevermind, found the issue. Fixed.
Also note; It works with “The Original Nespresso Capsules”, suggesting that a) there is a newer (replacement?) Nespresso capsule, that will not work and 2) it’s unlikely coffee producers will be making older-style capsules in support of an obsolete design, especially as users migrate to other options and market size shrinks even smaller.
Vertuo. They had to protect their profits since the original patents expired create a new design to get folks excited.
Other way around. Lots of third-party options for the original line. For the newer Vertuo machines, the only option is to order the Nespresso capsules – because profits patents.
