OK Woot, stop spying on me! We’re just sitting at the table, sipping a cup of Joe and debating whether it would be worthwhile for us to get an original line Nespresso machine like we used on vacation. I decide to have a look at what Woot has on offer in terms of pods, and find this!
So I have a question about this offer: the first item in the Features talks about not tamping the grounds too much, and grind size and amount of grounds – isn’t this a pod machine? I think it is. If I’m right, none of that is applicable.
The rest of the description sounds like it fits.
Commenting on my own comment, I see that the offending paragraph also appears in the Amazon listing for this and a similar model, the Essenza. But that doesn’t make it right! ![]()
Yeah, that’s odd. Removed the first bullet. Thanks!
I’m assuming this uses ‘original’ pods instead of ‘vertuo’ by the URL/search result from google. I thought they were trying to phase-out original lines to limit use of third party pods; but not positive.
Also worth mentioning the link shows $90 (out of stock). And this older model milk-frother was ~$50-75 when I bought a replacement from Nespresso few years ago.
That said - I loved my machine up until it died. Still looking for a good replacement.
Hi there. It’s this one:
