Just need to note that this is a data-only cable modem.
No phone.
No Wifi.
No router/firewall.
You must provide these all yourself by other means.
If you have Comcast/Xfinity voice service, this device is not for you. Comcast has a site to help with determining which devices are compatible with your service.
VOIP phones would work fine.
Is there a warranty included?
Also, what happens if the modem is still registered under another account by the ISP and they won’t remove it? Would I be able to return it?

I bought one retail. It didn’t last more than 2 years. It was a waste because unless you have 500 gb/sec you will not see any difference then a DOCSIS 3.0
