How come, about a month ago, I paid $60 bucks plus shipping for a refurbished Apple External SuperDrive and now they’re charging exactly the same for a brand new one? 
Geez. Yeah they are like $20 used on ebay too.

It’s based on the cost to us and the cost in the retail market. Prices can fluctuate.
They’re overpriced unless you really really really want Apple kit and love the look. You could buy 2, even 3 suitable DVD burner drives for the price of the ancient Apple SuperDrive.
