(NEW) Apple World Travel Power Adapter Kit

(NEW) Apple World Travel Power Adapter Kit

I can’t seem to find the crucial info of what jack this provides? Is it USB-C? Thanks.

Yes. It’s like they are deliberately trying to obscure it for some reason. I think this is a better link to the mothership: Apple World Travel Adapter Kit https://a.co/d/hN4IM6N
Although this third party version may have better pics: US to Europe Plug Converter Travel Charger Adapter for Apple iBook MacBook (White) https://a.co/d/gc31mdP

This is not a standalone product. It looks like it’s to be used with an existing Apple power adapter like the ones that let you change out the plug.

Agree and it is to swap out the plug on the Apple charging bricks like the one below.

It looks useful if you still use the Apple charger but I switched to the Anker GaN charger because it is so much smaller (and just carry the usual world plug adapter and a multiport outlet to keep everything else charged - phone, watch, tablet, etc)

This version of the adapter kit was subject to a safety recall.

I ordered One of these and it arrived today. I was shocked to find a 10 W usb-a charger with an ancient 30-pin apple cable for the old old iPods and iPhones (along with all the world adapters). amazed that it didn’t have usb-a to lightning cable. This thing is old! The box I received does not match up to the picture in the listing as it shows the usb-a to 30-pin cable on it along with the adapters. But as others have said, the adapters work with my MacBook power brick just fine, so I’m good with that.

I’ve got mine couple days ago and was surprised to find inside thirty pin cable inside. Today I’ve changed it for the new travel kit at the Apple Store using this recall program. Apple employee in the store allows me to preserve old cable from the original box.

Worst Woot purchase, and very disappointed in the company for selling a product that’s had a safety recall. Bad, Woot. Very bad.
