Watch design looks great. Been looking for one so great. But was disappointed to read battery life only 24 hours. Huh!!! That’s literally I’ve to charge the watch every day. Any other recommendations for smart watch similar to this with longer battery life???
Garmin - they’ve a lot of models and their batteries usually last more than a week
Battery life is horrible on ALL the watches that run on Android OS. But you charge your phone daily, so that is not a great argument or problem. 2 seconds to slap the puck to charge the watch.
Real Citizen watches are fantastic. As for the citizen smart watch. It sucks, it’s part of the Fossil watches for Android ecosystem. But for $100 it’s acceptable for having messages and music controls on your wrist. This is the first watch, there is a gen 2 that came out earlier this year. Software on gen 2 was horrific.
I have or a dozen android watches from the early days of moto to the current pixel watch. For the money, non of them are worth retail pricing. The pixel is the best so far for everything any of the watches can do outside of Apple.
If just getting into smart watches in 2023. Buy a knockoff Chinese watch on Amazon for $30 - $60 with the style you like to give it a try. They work decent with Android and battery often lasts for couple weeks.
I’m a Citizen fan from way back. I’m also a Pebble watch fan - they are just smart enough and the battery runs for a week - and you can still run them paired with Android if you work at it. But my daily is a Garmin which is tough and works well.
I purchased one. It is a good starter smart watch for me. The battery last 24 hours if you are running everything, ring, vibrate, notifications, email, text, etc. I cut the vibration and it will last twice as long. On extended it could last longer. For the price, it is a deal. Well made watch. It charges up really fast.
Terrible battery life. Could not connect to my iPhone 14. Tired to contact Citizen, but they did not respond. Now, 30 days to return has passed. The lesson is if it does not work, return right away. Otherwise, you will keep junk. I am not happy with WOOT!
