I finally got a response at just under 48 hours and it was to return for refund or keep with a $60 discount as someone mentioned above. This certainly seems like BNS when we are trying to be coerced to keep the model that is not in described condition with no offer to get the item we actually ordered. Oh, and to add, mine wasn’t red either. Seems like we got something significantly different than what was described.
Well, it’s been days since I reached out. Obviously, my contact either was ignored, went to the far land of pixel dust or both. Either way I too never heard back and since it wasn’t the correct product and people are not getting the correct product for replacements; I’ll just save time at this point and request the return.
I got someone to send a replacement. Like up thread, the replacement that arrived today was also a refurbished model. And not red. Again, significantly different than what was advertised.
After going back and forth a few times waiting 48 hours for a response from them each time, they told me I could either return it or keep it with a $50 discount ($10 less than what others were offered). They also stated that there was no other inventory so those were the only options.
Hey all. There’s no remaining inventory from what I’m told. If there was, it would likely come from the same Amazon warehouse causing the problems. Sorry for the issues but it would be best to return for a refund unless you decide to keep it with a partial refund.
On my box there is an FBA label direct from Dyson to woot. They know it was a refurb. If they didn’t have new ones, they shouldn’t have been selling new ones. They need to make it right.
I’m extremely frustrated trying to return this order and the process has been unnecessarily difficult at every step.
I log into Woot using my Amazon account, but the email address associated with my Woot profile is outdated and no longer accessible. As a result, I cannot receive the return label required to complete the return.
I already submitted an official request to update my email, and I was told to try again in 3 days. It has now been 2 weeks, and I’m still unable to proceed.
Can someone please assist with updating my email and sending the return label so i can return this order.
We’re having technical issues with updating emails.
In the meantime, reach back out to customer service and ask them to send the return label to a different email address.
I have called and talked to customer service. They stated my issue would be escalated and a supervisor would reach out to me. That was over 2 weeks ago. Now I’m about to be left with an item I cannot return as Woot cannot reply to emails. Please have a supervisor reach out to me. If not I will be filing a formal complaint with the FTC for bait and switch and deceptive practices. I understand you didn’t know they were refurbished. The right thing would be to offer the new item for customers. Amazon and woot make billions a year. Make this right. It is Woots fault. Now I cannot even get a reply. So please stop saying to wait. This is past the point of reasonable patience. I know you help on the forums but stop telling people they will be emailed. It’s simply not happening.
Well, since you can’t get the email, I guess you can private message email me another email for CS to send the return label to.
To private message me, click on my name on this post and then click on Message in the box that pops up. To check your PMs, click on your avatar in the upper-right corner of any page and then click on the envelope in the menu that appears.
I will absolutely be filing a complaint with the FTC. There are regulations that are supposed to protect buyers from this exact situation. I’m guessing it was a 3rd party seller on Amazon, but that’s not our fault. The whole process has been ridiculous.
This is a scam how does everyone on this forum been having the same issue for months and they don’t correct it. Clearly a bait and switch smh. I’m done with woot and Dyson. Had a refurbished one before and had to replace the battery in just a little over a year smh.
Months? This was sold in June, with complaints coming in for less than 2 weeks.
The first complaint was a month and a half ago they posted this item like 2 other times. It’s not even close to what it says it is in the description and i bet they post it again even though everyone that received this has complained that it not what its says it is.
I’m sorry you got a Dyson that was refurbished but it wasn’t everyone. It was units pulled out of one or two Amazon warehouses, not all warehouses.
I order 2 different ones from 2 separate postings for new and got 2 refurbished items. If that true let me return these ones for the ones from the correct warehouse with the correct product.
