I got to borrow one of these.
Massive upgrade over the old Sennheiser GAME ZERO closed headset (honk honk city!), it uses the same new driver as the HD 560S and HD 58X Jubilee, but they did a good job dampening the reverb and resonance problems inherent in closed headphones. Not too heavy, a little bulky in dimensions, the volume dial gives me more confidence in longevity than my old PC37X (GAME ONE open back gaming headset). It’s pretty comfortable to wear, though most men will probably use the widest headband setting (it’s just cool that it even has this adjustment, I know some gamer girls/women who would need this).
Normally, I would say closed headphones cost more and sacrifice a bit of audio quality compared to open headphones, and the open back GSP 500 does sound a bit better than this closed GSP 600, but for $50 this deal is a steal and of course the closed back will be nice when you need a little isolation.
$50, geez! These would be a sonic upgrade over Beats and Bose at $300, not kidding.
