Bummer. Can’t return it?

How much storage? Might be worth going to the hassle of returning it if you only got 128 since he or you would say 40 bucks and get 512 GB of storage.

I’m currently using a pixel 6 pro as a secondary device and I’ve had to delete stuff because I’m already at 100 GB of storage. And I try to leave at least 20% free.

Although it’s a little frustrating because the 128 GB is only 360 here. Which is a great deal. There’s a price bump of significance to go up to 256 but from there it’s only $20. More to double that.

So I think the real value here is either getting 128 GB if you don’t need more than that or jumping all the way up to 512.

256 GB seems the worst just from the value proposition cuz you can either save $80 and get half of that or at least spend $20 more to double it

It’s a pretty compelling deal since you get the full 12 months warranty. Brand new 100% battery health.

If you don’t care about the telephoto or the QHD screen. The pixel 8 has that extra 4 OS updates which is no small matter.

It’s an interesting choice between getting the 12 GB of RAM and the curved screen and the telephoto lens five times. Optical… Versus an extra 4 years of OS updates and 2 years extra security patches.

For most people, the OS updates is probably the better bargain, but I have to admit when I’m not using a phone with optical zoom, I get frustrated. I like using it almost as a pair of binoculars.

Tempted actually to buy a used s23 ultra or s21 ultra or something like that someday for that reason. But those are stubbornly expensive on the resale market compared to the pixels and I don’t really like money you all right

I have the 6A, how much of a better option is this?

I purchased this a couple months ago and it has always had issues, I thought it was just that the 7 was a crappy phone, but it stopped working, so apparently it was my specific device. Google says woot is not an authorized dealer and my phone is flagged and they will not provide any support or help. Amazon and woot say it’s past the 90 days so they won’t do anything. So now I have a phone with no support, that does not work and no one is responsible. DO NOT BUY FROM WOOT!!! They aren’t authorized to sell!!!

If you used a credit card to purchase, you might research if it offers some kind of extension of the original Woot warranty. Site Nerdwallet has a good explanation, if your credit card offers such a benefit:

This is so helpful to know, Mcorcoran3.
Thanks! I am starting to look for a “newish” cell, and all prices seem overwhelingly higggghhhh. Space is one of the most important thinfs as i take many photos and some videos.

I would like to let you guys know, that while this phone is exactly what it says it is, brand new and sealed authentic Google product, these phone DO NOT carry a warranty. If you did purchase one and check on Googles own “warranty helper/status” page, it shows that your device has no active warranty after you’ve entered your IMEI number.

I wonder what model of the pixel 7 pro this is? All help on this question will be appreciated.

Will anyone who purchased this phone thru woot let all of us who are thinking of purchasing this phone let us know if the model number of the pixel 7 pro they received.

It’s a much better phone across the board (it’s a later generation, and a “premium” phone rather than the budget line), but the 6a is still perfectly serviceable for most people. This is likely being discounted to unload stock ahead of Pixel 9 (there’s a reveal event August 13, and launch likely shortly after).

The model of this phone is the GE2AE “dual sim” so it will accept a physical sim card and eSim. This phone works with all carriers unlocked.

Hi,
What about warranty, I read Google does not support it as woot invoice does not contain IMEI number. Will woot invoice contain IMEI number?, how the Google warranty works?. Any idea?

My ‘2nd’ purchase of 7 Pro, (first seemed Obvious RE-sell) is a GE2AE

WOOT Rep thunder thighs too, complicit-TO with MIS-REPRESENTATION.
IF 'MY PHONE" SUFFERS MFG FAILURE, WILL BE pursuing 1 yr Warranty Coverage AGAINST WOOT, TO BE SURE.

Sorry Google isn’t playing nice. Reach out to Woot! Customer Service. To speed things up, let them know if you prefer a return/refund or a replacement (if possible).

Woot customer support is not honoring the 1 year of support. I reached out to them explaining the situation (and how Google is not honoring the 1 year of support) and the response is:

"We’re sorry, but it has been more than 90 days since you purchased the product, which means that the window on our 30-day return policy has closed.

Unfortunately, the manufacturer’s warranty has expired as well. You can still contact the manufacturer to see if there is anything they can do."

I feel like I bought this phone under false promises of a 1 year warranty. How can I get this addressed?

-edit- Customer service actually agreed to return the product for a full refund. It’s not the most ideal situation for me, but definitely a fair arrangement and I’m satisfied.
