I wholeheartedly endorse this mouse.
This is the mouse that comes as part of the MK710 combo, and I would buy one right now if I hadn’t just bought a new MK710 last week. I got my old one a while before covid, so it’s 6 to 8 years old. The only problem my old keyboard has is that I’ve worn several of the letter labels off the keys. The mouse is still going strong, and it’s my favorite mouse I’ve used.
I’m not a gamer, so I can’t speak to how it would work for that, but it fits my hand, and I’ve never gotten fatigue or a tingly feeling after long use like I have with some others. Be sure to notice that it is shaped for a right hand, not a left.
The description doesn’t mention this feature that I like – the scroll wheel also tilts left and right. Useful in wide documents like spreadsheets or graphics, especially when zoomed in. (Edit: I see now that one of the images mentions it as “tilt wheel for horizontal”)
They’re also not kidding about the battery life. I don’t know if it’s fully 3 years, but I’ve only changed them once since I started working from home in March 2020.
I’ve moved my old combo over to one of the computers I tinker with. I expect it to have quite a bit of life remaining.
Solution: keycap labels. Something like these:

Thanks, I hadn’t seen those before so hadn’t even thought to look.
I like the keyboard a lot, and these will be great on a secondary machine.
I’m also close to to breaking down and buying a mouse for my Chromebook instead of the little one I use with it now
