The one big controller button on mine was DOA and returned.
I’m still using THREE of the $16.99 ones but problems with USB cables on other models and my dead button lead me to suspect quality control issues in China.

I think you’re confusing this mic with the JBL ones. There’s only been one Neat brand mic for sale here - the bumblebee II. Mine has worked fine - also quality control issues happen everywhere. Kind of ignorant and literally stupid to blame an entire country for one company’s product having an issue. Cheap is cheap is cheap. China is the origin country of many companies products - and most of them aren’t bad. I’ve been using this mic since I bought it with no issues - you also have to press in on the dial to change the function it’s adjusting. Read the manual it comes with (if you can sacrifice enough pride to do so) and you’ll see the color around the dial indicates what function it’s adjusting.
Even your USA based product with the flag on it is usually just assembled in the USA. Most components are mass produced overseas but I understood everyone needs a bad guy Boogeyman to blame when they run into an issue.

Idk how you got there just because neat products are produced there. Seems like you need to just avoid Neat products. As your cell phone you adore is also manufactured there
Mass produced items always end up having some with defects, some slip through, it happens everywhere. And to be completely honest most made in USA products I’ve gotten are absolute garbage
At least hate the right people. Be mad at neat cause you got a bad bumblebee. Don’t just throw an entire nation under the bus about a bad mic you got. It created an environment where hate towards an entire group of people is accepted.
I don’t even particularly like China due to their intelligence service practices and such, but at least direct your anger to the right party.
