Just opened mine today. The box is beat up too, and dusty as well. Had to make sure the screen wasn’t cracked. Also bubble wrap on one side as well. A lot of money for terrible packaging…

There’s no link on the product page to do this, and your FAQ says you have to purchase Asurion protection through the product page for it to apply correctly. I sent customer support an email about this over the weekend and haven’t heard back. Could you please help me with this? I’m worried about the 30-day period to apply coverage running out.

With apologies for being redundant, I want to confirm: upthread Froodyfrog said Woot can’t guarantee the manufacturer warranty would be honored, and the FAQ says if it did apply, it would be listed on the deal page. Asurion’s individual protection plans say they only apply to items covered (at time of purchase) by a manufacturer warranty. So–will Asurion honor the protection plan even if Nintendo don’t honor their warranty?

Through our agreement with Asurion, they will cover things with a Woot warranty as long as they’re not Open Box on Clearance or Scratch-n-Dent condition.

As far as the coverage, yep–can you confirm I picked the right plan for the item (assuming I want 3 years)?

I would do non-portable electronics, personally but I’m no Asurion expert.

My thinking was 1) that the Switch is a portable device, and 2) that the portable plans include accident protection while the non-portable plans don’t. Would my purchasing the portable plan create some kind of problem?

You’d need to ask Asurion. I don’t have that level of information.

Has anyone else switch 2 come with some minor damage? Mine has a small crack/hole in the glass on the screen… maybe that’s why they came in so dusty and busted up :confused:
