This is NOT A DEAL FOLKS! 15 Watts is a joke. You can charge your phone faster just by using the very same same 20w usbc cable used to power the MagSafe charger. Anker is NOTORIOUSLY scamming people with their products and their prices. There are chargers that are a fraction of the cost and will charge your iPhone so much faster.

Everyone besides you apparently knows that wireless power transfer is much lower than wired; we still use wireless BECAUSE IT’S WIRELESS, THAT’S THE POINT. This is not a scam, it’s just you missing the point.

imo, this deal and the other one (the 3-in-1 charger for $30) are pretty great deals if you compare them to similar (way overpriced) magnetic stand models from Belkin or Anker. I bought the $30 and it’s super solid. So much so that I’m considering buying another couple to give as gifts.
And to answer the other question - Anker and Otterbox are different companies.

Wireless charging inefficiencies create a lot of heat and that heat greatly reduces the lifespan of li-ion batteries. The higher temperatures promote non-reversible reactions that trap the lithium ions and make them unavailable as charge carriers. Chinese automakers include cooling fans with the wireless chargers to mitigate the problem.
Oh yeah, my bad. This doesn’t seem to have the apple watch charger.
I had an Otterbox charger and the folding prongs just fell apart after a couple years sitting in the same outlet. I wouldn’t buy another. But as long as you can substitute another wall charger with this stand, you’d be okay.

So, if the convenience of simply dropping yer phone on a wireless charger at night, when you’re perfectly happy to let the phone optimize the charging rate for battery health… then lower wattage could be a good thing! Lower heat.

I’ve owned this MagSafe charge stand for a couple years - I think I paid $20 for it. To be honest, it worked fine for overnight charging, but it now sits in the surplus mobile accessories drawer. It was fine. Appeared to be solidly made even if that $100 MSRP is a joke. ‘Moved to a triple charge stand that can do phone/watch/airpods at the same time.
