Many recent reviews talk about Bluetooth connection issues, one earbud randomly failing, charging case overheating etc. Are they dumping the leftover defective stock on woot?
For whatever it is worth, with an overwhelming sample size of two (my brother, who is a staunch audio enthusiast, as well as a nephew who also has these) - They’ve held up well for them, and have had no more connection issues than comparable Sony, or other higher-end earbuds. Neither have reported charging or battery issues either. Not sure that the other recent reviews would sway me much, given a very positive audition, and having had minor issues with several other brands and models as well on my own, even at higher price points. They all seem to have a few duds, or be susceptible to wear and tear. ![]()
So, at the discount, you chance as much likelihood of failure as most wireless buds that are just not able to be repaired… But you also get what would be on the very high end of the audio experience.
They’re tempting to me, even though I have a few serviceable Sony buds
… But that’s just how Woot! keeps getting my money.
