The page says “New” for $279. The specs say Refurbished for $319. What gives?
The units in today’s deal are BRAND NEW. I couldn’t find a spec page for the new condition unit on Sonos.com. Since the specs are the same, I figured linking to the refurb page was better than nothing.
I think that their confusion was over how Woot is selling something for new, cheaper than what the manufacturer is selling a used one for.

My comment doesn’t specifically apply to the Sonos Beam, but all Woot purchases over $35. I don’t have Amazon Prime, but if I make a purchase of over $35, shipping is free. Why doesn’t Woot have this policy as well?

My mom has this speaker, and we just got her a projector. Is there any way to get audio out to this Sonos without using HDMI eARC?
No, these can only accept audio input from HDMI ARC. There is no other audio in port, not even analog. Maybe you can get some kind of adapter though, for example TOS optical to HDMI.
It came with an optical to hdmi adapter.
Interestingly, Woot has a new deal on this for $299. I got it for the old price.
Also, you can play audio wireless or through Ethernet, using the app.
