The web says this uses a proprietary stylus cartridge containing a ceramic needle from the manufacturer that can be replaced.
As someone who loves vinyl records, I tell people to specifically avoid Victrola, because they use cheap styli that just don’t sound good. If you want to go cheap, look for one with an Audio Technica 3600 stylus.
