Sorry, but if your iced coffee is brewed over normal ice, it most definitely will be watered down. The real solution we found, was to freeze coffee in iced cube trays, and use them to brew over instead.

I bought this same coffee maker on Woot back in 2021 for $85 (also a refurb) and it’s been excellent. We tend to just stick to full/half pots and don’t use the other brew options but it brews well. I like the removable water reservoir and the design of the cone filter basket. The delay brew is easy to set and assures we have coffee ready when we wake up which is wildly convenient. All in all, highly recommended and this is a very good price.

This machine produces a more concentrated coffee to offset that.

Same here. Mine came with a glass pot, but it’s been rock solid as well. Highly recommend. :grinning:

This is only the machine right? No other accessory is included?

This is an excellent coffee maker. It controls water temperature and “primes” the coffee grounds just like a fancy machine. Highly recommend and this is a great price!

Ninja CFP451CO DualBrew Pro System 14-Cup Coffee Maker (Open Box) (woot.com)

This one almost lulled me away but I really want the thermal carafe. The cost of the maker is the price of the maker is only $10 more than the thermal carafe alone!! I also would love to kick the pods to the curb!

What’s cleaning/maintaining process?

I bought this a while back and love it for the half/full carafe option but feel that it produces some pretty weak single cups. It’s not the biggest deal because I can always add more, but I would prefer to be able to use less coffee when making single servings.

I don’t think I would ever really make a “single cup” I usually drink a mug full of coffee. I always find myself using at least two k-cups to make my morning coffee. Otherwise, it is weak and tastes like nothing I’d want to drink. That’s another main reason for this purchase. I can make a mini pot instead of a “cup” I don’t drink 8 oz of coffee and that’s about all a k-cup can handle with any real flavor resembling coffee.
